Pronto Staffing is seeking a dependable machine operator for a busy production facility in the Decatur area.
Job Summary Pronto Staffing is hiring for a production role focused on manufacturing industrial piping. You will help keep the production line running smoothly by operating equipment and maintaining a safe work area. This is a great role for someone with mechanical skills who enjoys working in a team setting.
Responsibilities
Operate production machinery to manufacture products
Use forklifts to move materials and meet production needs
Perform equipment changeovers and basic repairs
Check product quality and follow safety rules
Fill out daily production reports and paperwork
Keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements
Ability to read a tape measure and use basic math
Experience using hand tools like sanders or grinders
Experience using precision tools like calipers or micrometers
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and write in English
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Work Environment
Stand for 12-hour shifts on concrete surfaces
Work in a non-climate controlled indoor environment (heat and cold)
Wear steel-toe boots jeans and t-shirts daily
Work a rotating schedule (36 hours one week 48 hours the next)
