Saint Leo the Great Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled high-impact Middle School Math Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging middle school math instruction aligned with curriculum standards
• Build a structured disciplined and positive classroom culture rooted in Catholic values
• Develop students mathematical reasoning problem-solving and analytical thinking
  
  
• Provide meaningful assessment and feedback to drive student growth and mastery
• Integrate faith and character formation into daily classroom experiences
• Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations for all students
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with faculty and staff
• Serve as a visible daily witness to the Catholic faith and school mission
• Contribute to school life activities and community initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

• Virginia state licensure or VCEA certification
• Bachelors degree minimum
• Strong alignment with the mission of Catholic education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for teaching middle school mathematics

Preferred:

• Practicing Catholic (or strong support of Catholic mission)
• Experience teaching middle school math; Algebra or Geometry endorsements
• Demonstrated ability to foster confidence and curiosity in students
• Collaborative organized and growth-oriented mindset
