Job Description
As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Rounds in Las Vegas NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with calm professional communication. This post requires an armed guard card and/or license. You will build trust through helpful customer service while working as part of a team that is agile reliable innovative and committed to always acting with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government facility location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site leadership and local public service partners as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings entrances parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials screening visitors and deliveries per site procedures and directing employees and visitors to appropriate service areas.
- Complete timely reports and logs for patrol activity incidents and observed hazards and communicate updates through radio and/or phone in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
