Job Description
1st Shift - 5:00AM to 3:30PM - Monday to Friday
Operator II Fill / Label / Pack
Location: Middletown VA
Location/Division Specific Information:
This position supports Fill Label and Pack manufacturing operations at the Middletown site within a regulated production environment. The Operator II role is responsible for executing manufacturing processes in compliance with GMP safety and quality standards to ensure efficient and accurate product output.
How Will You Make an Impact
As an Operator II you will contribute to Right First Time performance reduction of defects and on-time delivery. Your ability to operate equipment complete accurate documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction.
A Day in the Life:
Set up operate monitor and troubleshoot fill/label/pack equipment in accordance with SOPs BMRs and safety guidelines.
Perform line clearances in-process inspections and complete batch record documentation accurately and in real time.
Support changeovers maintain required production rates and assist with training or cross-functional collaboration as needed.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations or production.
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Working knowledge of GMP SOPs and production documentation practices.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.
Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Work performed in a controlled manufacturing environment requiring appropriate PPE.
