Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our second-shift production this role the operator will set up operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude precision and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes mills or multi-axis machines per job order requirements
- Interpret blueprints schematics and work instructions
- Load raw materials select proper tooling and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production
- Inspect finished parts using calipers micrometers gauges and other precision instruments
- Make machine offsets and minor program edits as needed
- Monitor machinery for proper operation and report issues to maintenance or supervision
- Maintain clean safe and organized work area according to 5S standards
- Complete production documentation inspection reports and quality records
- Follow all safety quality and company policies during shift
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of CNC machining experience preferred (lathe mill or both)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Familiarity with G-code M-code or CNC program adjustments is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Schedule & Work Environment
- Second Shift: Insert Specific Hours
- Manufacturing environment with moderate noise
- PPE provided/required (safety glasses steel-toe boots hearing protection etc.)
