What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or volunteers while following site-specific security-related procedures policies and post orders including when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries halls offices parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance fire and/or operational concerns for reporting.
- Monitor entrances exits and controlled areas; assist with visitor flow and access control by verifying credentials directing guests and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; provide clear instructions to occupants and coordinate with site leadership and local first responders as directed.
- Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports; communicate observations and status updates to site representatives Allied Universal supervision and/or dispatch using required radio and reporting systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
