The Technician II Quality Control HQC is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies and upkeeping instrumentation.
This position reports to the shift Supervisor and is part of High Throughput Quality Control located in Coralville IA and all work is performed on-site role.Schedule: Friday-Sunday 7:00am-7:30pm
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Analyzes data and information for quality consistency and accuracy
Use and service a variety of analytical and sample handling equipment
Maintain accurate and detailed sample product and instrument records
The essential requirements of the job include:
College level education preferably in a science related field or equivalent laboratory experience (at least 2 years in laboratory environment)
Proficiency in computer skills and common software applications
Ability to accurately use and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
Lifting up to 50lbs: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
Walking: moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Sequencing data or QC analysis.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
