Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Endoscopy
Location: Rome New York
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10 Hour Days
Weekly Gross Pay: $2000 $2800 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural setting. The RN will play a critical role in assisting with endoscopic procedures ensuring patient safety and supporting efficient clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
Assist physicians during procedures including advanced procedures such as ERCP
Monitor patients before during and after procedures
Administer medications and manage sedation as required
Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR systems
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
On-Call Requirements
On-call required: Approximately 6 days per month
Weekend call: May be required
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Proven experience in Endoscopy nursing
ERCP experience (mandatory)
Experience with EMR systems such as Paragon and Pyxis
Strong clinical communication and critical thinking skills
