The Opportunity

The UK Sports Institute and British Triathlon have an exciting opportunity for a part time Physiotherapist to work with their World Class Olympic and Paralympic Programmes in Loughborough.

Working Pattern:0.6 FTE 22.15 hours per week (Monday PM Tuesday full Thursday full & Friday PM)

This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in the performance journey of some of the worlds best triathletes. Working in close partnership with coaches and the Performance Support Team the postholder will help shape deliver and evaluate cuttingedge physical health services that directly influence Olympic and Paralympic medal success.

Based at the Loughborough Triathlon Centre you will lead physiotherapy provision for elite Olympic triathletes there (0.4 FTE) and support worldclass Paratriathletes (0.2 FTE) alongside the Lead Paratriathlon Physiotherapist. Youll work daily with athletes who have already achieved podium success and those on track to do so contributing to their preparation longterm availability and performance projects to deliver worldleading performance when it matters. The role may also extend to supporting remote World Class Programme athletes with opportunities for international travel to training camps and major competitions.
