Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.


Mandatory Skills:

8 years experience in data-driven organizations with a focus on end-to-end large-scale initiatives.
5 years hands-on experience building applications data platform and pipelines in cloud-native technologies. Deep technical understanding of Data and Analytics paradigms and technologies - Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) Databases/Warehouses (Snowflake Oracle Starburst Trino MSSQL)
Proficient in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines data lakes and data warehouses.
Solid programming skills in languages such as Python Java Scala and SQL.
In-depth knowledge of cloud native technologies including AWS services like S3 EC2 EKS Glue SageMaker Athena and Redshift.
Strong version control and collaboration practices (Git code review workflows CI/CD).
Hands-on container experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related technical field.
Understanding around building API solutions and microservices.
Understanding around designing and building LLMpowered solutions including effective prompt engineering and RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) workflows.
Demonstrated ability to communicate negotiate influence and arbitrate competing priorities within a diverse set of user communities and stakeholders (internal and external).
Strong decision making outcome driven influencing leading change and communication skills.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI/Tableau).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in executing SLCs strategic vision for its enterprise data platform self-serve analytics and data marketplace across Pan-SLC portfolios and ecosystems. You will be a core member of the data platform squad responsible for evolving engineering practices and delivering foundational data capabilities using Snowflake or similar cloud-native technologies.
This is a high-impact senior-level role requiring deep technical expertise strong leadership and a comprehensive understanding of industry standards in data and cloud engineering. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable secure and high-performance data solutions that enable business-critical use cases and empower teams across the organization.
Your ultimate objective is to deliver best-in-class technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes through robust data governance seamless reporting and platform reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders mentor junior engineers and influence architectural decisions to ensure the data platform remains agile innovative and future-ready.
