Job Summary

A diagnostic radiologist is required to join a group of five radiologists located at the Cobequid Community Health Centre site of Central Zone Nova Scotia Health. 

Typical weekday case volumes average 300 340 studies with around one third of cases from the ER (50 70 CT 25 30 US and the remainder plain film radiographs).

Weekend days average 80 100 ER cases (15- 20 CT) and 20 outpatient CT. Outpatient cases come from primary health care and the specialist clinics at all three facilities in the central zone.


Qualifications :

The candidate will be an FRCPC or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiology and be eligible for a full license in Nova Scotia. Preference will go to individuals with fellowship training and experience in abdominal or emergency radiology. Administration experience would be an asset. At least five years of practice in a community setting would also be an asset.
