As a Security Officer - Box Store Patrol in Manchester CT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with calm clear communication. You will support shoppers tenants and store teams with professional customer service accurate reporting and teamwork. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers associates and/or visitors by following security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor stock areas entrances and the exterior perimeter noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including providing directions de-escalating disputes and requesting assistance from local emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas help to deter theft and/or property damage and report observed policy violations to site leadership per post orders.
• Complete routine reports such as daily activity logs incident reports and patrol documentation and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
