- 0 to 4 years of CT workers compensation experience
- anewly CT barred attorney with exposure to the flow of a workers compensation case AND the desire to learn workers compensation law in a greater capacity
- Proficient in all phases of a workers compensation casesOR have a desire be mentored and learn
- Excellent analytical skills
- Professional written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop positive rapport with a diverse group of people
- Adept at working efficiently and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Balance working independently and collaborating with others
- Proactive results-focused work ethic
Responsibilities include:
- Represent and counsel clients regarding their legal rights and obligations
- Review analyze and evaluate all case information and investigative materials
- Accountable for adherence to statute of limitations and notice deadlines
- Negotiate settle and try plaintiff personal injury cases
- Timely communication with clients and medical providers
- Provide outstanding client service in a professional and ethical manner
- Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with fellow attorneys and support staff
- Occasional travel to CT courts
- Follow the firms operating procedures and case management guidelines
