Our Midlands and Anglia Cost and Project Management team continues to grow with specific growth demand within the Commercial Residential Industrial and Logistics Healthcare and Education markets where we have successfully secured positions with many high-profile clients and some key local projects and programs in the industry. As a direct result of this growth we are currently seeking a Project Director to join our team where you will have the responsibility of developing our client base with a focus on the East Midlands

Based from either Birmingham or Nottingham you will be given the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.

Job Responsibilities: 

• You will be primarily working alongside other Directors to successfully manage grow and deliver Project / Cost Management duties on various capital projects. 
• You will contribute to our growth plans with a responsibility for business development including winning new clients and commissions.
• The role will entail direct client engagement acting as the key day to day client interface.
• You should possess the skills and experience to actively lead and support the internal team manage and mentor staff.
• To provide oversight / strategic guidance / audit and review for a portfolio of projects.
• You will help develop collaborative relationships with our existing clients and other professional colleagues within the industry. Demonstrate an ability and desire to obtain an increased understanding of a clients business demonstrating client focus.
• You will be connected organised and self-motivated being able to successfully work with minimum supervision.
• Successful delivery of projects ensuring tasks on projects are resourced managed and completed efficiently on time and with a keen desire to maintain clients satisfaction leading to continued and further business.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible

Heres what were looking for:

• Professional Qualified ideally Project Management/ Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree
• Chartered Status with the RICS / APM or similar
• Proven ability to develop long term relationships with all team members and effectively balance people and processes.
• Proven leadership within a Cost or Project Management business and provide leadership management and mentoring to the team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key.
