Job Summary
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Maintenance Team at Ignitis Renewables Latvia where you will ensure the availability traceability and cost-effective management of spare parts across wind solar BESS and substation assets by overseeing inventory accuracy optimising stock levels and maintaining high-quality warehouse data management. You will contribute to a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Managing spare parts inventory for renewable energy assets including critical spare identification safety stock planning reorder point definition and monitoring of obsolescence risks
- Ensuring proper warehouse organisation storage conditions and safe handling procedures for spare parts tools consumables and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock reconciliation system updates master data governance and parts-to-asset mapping
- Coordinating spare parts procurement and supplier communication to ensure timely availability of materials for maintenance activities
- Managing warehouse logistics including receiving acceptance physical handling lifting and loading of spare parts and heavy components for transportation to renewable energy sites ensuring safe handling and compliance with logistics procedures
- Supporting warehouse digitisation and continuous improvement of inventory management processes to enhance traceability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma or associate degree in a relevant field
- Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations including warehouse logistics and material handling processes
- Experience working with ERP/EAM systems (e.g. SAP PM/MM IFS Maximo) would be an advantage
- Strong Excel and SharePoint skills for inventory tracking reporting and documentation management
- Experience handling NCRs warranty claims and supplier communication or escalations would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and discipline in maintaining high data quality and traceability of inventory
- Fluency in Latvian and English (minimum B2 level).
