Facilities & Construction Project Lead

WHAT YOULL DO 
 

Together with the Construction & Facilities team you will support the overall coordination of construction and maintenance projects across the France Belgium and Luxembourg markets for all H&M Group brands. 

• You will oversee the operational alignment of ongoing projects ensuring consistency clarity and quality in execution while supporting those who manage the projects on a daily basis. 

• You will work with the team to plan budget and follow up on construction and maintenance projects ensuring quality cost control timelines safety sustainability and smooth collaboration with external partners. 

• You will contribute to the selection of reliable partners and the securing of contracts ensuring risk management timeline compliance and adherence to contractual conditions. 

• You will drive planning optimization and continuous improvement sharing best practices and supporting the Construction & Facilities team in enhancing ways of working. 

• You will monitor tenders contracts budgets and costs to ensure financial transparency. 

• You will secure data accuracy in systems for precise followup and future benchmarking. 

• You will follow up on required actions to ensure compliance and proper risk assessment. 

WHO YOULL WORK WITH 
Within the team you will support the Construction & Facilities Manager through clear communication and strong operational coordination. You will work closely with the Expansion team and other key stakeholders to ensure good alignment on all construction and maintenance activities. 

You will be a central point of contact ensuring that information priorities and workflows are fully aligned. You will report into the Construction & Facilities Manager for France Belgium and Luxembourg and be the first point of contact in their absence. 

WHO YOU ARE 

We are looking for people with... 

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Facility Management and Construction. Experience in the retail sector would be considered a plus.  

• Experience in team management either formally or informally. 

• Strong capability to manage and oversee multiple construction and maintenance projects coordinating both internal stakeholders and external providers. 

• A solid understanding of the construction environment with the ability to identify risks and opportunities in the Retail environment. 

• Proficiency in MS Office Outlook Excel PowerPoint and MS Teams. 

• Fluency in English (C1 level required) and bilingual proficiency in French.

• Demonstrated leaders with strong influencing and coaching abilities. Able to inspire guide and motivate. 

• Able to set priorities effectively particularly when working with tight deadlines or dealing with unexpected changes combining creativity with methodical planning. 

• Analytical and structured able to prepare and present budgets business cases and cost/quality followup reports. 

• Clear and effective communicators skilled in managing expectations negotiating with stakeholders and translating business needs into actionable plans. 

• Motivated by sustainability committed to reducing carbon footprint and integrating environmentally responsible practices into construction projects. 

The position is based in Paris and requires occasional travel in France Belgium and Luxembourg.

CE QUE VOUS FEREZ 

• Avec léquipe Construction & Facilities vous soutiendrez la coordination globale des projets de construction et de maintenance sur les marchés France Belgique et Luxembourg pour lensemble des marques du groupe H&M. 
• Vous superviserez lalignement opérationnel des projets en cours en garantissant cohérence clarté et qualité dexécution tout en soutenant celles et ceux qui gèrent les projets au quotidien. 
• Vous travaillerez avec léquipe pour planifier budgéter et assurer le suivi des projets de construction et de maintenance en garantissant la qualité le contrôle des coûts le respect des délais la sécurité la durabilité et une collaboration fluide avec les partenaires externes. 
• Vous contribuerez à la sélection de partenaires fiables et à la sécurisation des contrats en garantissant la gestion des risques le respect des délais et la conformité contractuelle. 
• Vous piloterez loptimisation de la planification et lamélioration continue en partageant les meilleures pratiques et en soutenant léquipe Construction & Facilities dans lévolution de ses méthodes de travail. 
• Vous suivrez les appels doffres les contrats les budgets et les coûts afin dassurer une transparence financière. 
• Vous garantirez la fiabilité des données dans les systèmes pour un suivi précis et de futurs benchmarks. 
• Vous assurerez le suivi des actions nécessaires pour garantir la conformité et la bonne évaluation des risques. 

AVEC QUI VOUS TRAVAILLEREZ 
Au sein de léquipe vous soutiendrez le/la Construction & Facilities Manager grâce à une communication claire et une coordination opérationnelle efficace. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec léquipe Expansion et lensemble des parties prenantes afin dassurer un bon alignement sur toutes les activités de construction et de maintenance. 

Vous serez un point de contact central garantissant que linformation les priorités et les workflows soient pleinement alignés. Vous reporterez au/à la Construction & Facilities Manager pour la France la Belgique et le Luxembourg et serez la personne de référence en son absence. 

QUI VOUS ÊTES 

Nous recherchons des personnes qui ont 

• Au moins 5 ans dexpérience professionnelle en Facility Management et Construction. Une expérience dans le secteur du retail serait un plus. 
• Une expérience en management déquipe formelle ou informelle. 
• Une forte capacité à gérer et superviser plusieurs projets de construction et de maintenance en coordonnant aussi bien les parties prenantes internes que les prestataires externes. 
• Une solide compréhension de lenvironnement de la construction avec la capacité didentifier risques et opportunités dans un contexte Retail. 
• La maîtrise de MS Office Outlook Excel PowerPoint et MS Teams. 
• La maîtrise de langlais (niveau C1 requis) et un bilinguisme en français. 
• Et des personnes qui sont 
• Des leaders avérés capables dinfluencer et de coacher. Capables dinspirer de guider et de motiver. 
• Capables de définir efficacement les priorités notamment dans des contextes de délais serrés ou de changements inattendus en combinant créativité et planification méthodique. 
• Analytique et structurées capables de préparer et présenter des budgets business cases et rapports de suivi coût/qualité. 
• Dexcellents communicants capables de gérer les attentes négocier avec les parties prenantes et traduire les besoins business en plans daction concrets. 
• Motivées par la durabilité engagées dans la réduction de lempreinte carbone et lintégration de pratiques responsables dans les projets de construction. 

Le poste est basé à Paris et nécessite des déplacements ponctuels en France Belgique et Luxembourg.
