About the Role

We are looking for an experienced KDB Developer (KDB/q)to join a high-impact data analytics team responsible for building andmaintaining low-latency high-performance data platforms for electronictrading environments.

You will work on production-grade systems thatingest process and deliver real-time and historical equities market datapartnering closely with traders quants analysts and engineering teamsacross global locations.

KDB/q expertise ismandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & KDBDevelopment

• Design develop and maintain KDB/q applications and services
• Build low-latency pipelines to ingest transform and serve market data
• Enrich datasets with analytics and business-driven metrics

Data Visualization& Analytics

• Develop business-facing dashboards using Tableau Plotly or Streamlit
• Deliver insightful data products for traders and analysts

PerformanceOptimization & Monitoring

• Profile and optimize KDB queries and pipelines
• Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance

Production Support& Reliability

• Participate in on-call rotation and resolve production incidents
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
• Ensure high levels of system stability and availability

Quality Testing &Automation

• Contribute to unit integration and performance testing
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
• Implement data validation schema checks and anomaly detection

Collaboration &Documentation

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders
• Translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• Maintain clear documentation of systems and processes

Technical Skills Required

• Strong experience with KDB/q (mandatory)
• Experience in real-time high-load or electronic trading systems
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and performance optimization
• Experience with Python (data processing / visualization)
• Familiarity with Java C or C (nice to have)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
