Inst/Ast Prof Fixed Term in Studio Art
The Department of Art Art History and Design at Michigan State University is currently establishing a pool of fixed term assistant professors in studio art. These positions will be filled per course/per semester on an as-needed basis. Applicants in this pool are reviewed when the program has an immediate need to fill a vacancy within a two-year period. Positions could begin as early as August 16 2026.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Studio Art. Courses include Drawing I; Color and Design; Three-Dimensional Form; Advanced and Special Topics in Drawing; and/or selected courses in Painting Sculpture Printmaking Ceramics Electronic Art Intermedia and Photography.

Terminal -Studio Art
Degree in studio art or equivalent experience and education.
