Berks Counseling Center is a recovery-oriented behavioral health physical health and supportive services organization providing a holistic approach to a culturally and economically diverse population for the purpose of achieving a healthy and productive lifestyle.


As a Team Leader you will provide general behavioral health clinical supervision in addition to being responsible for development oversight and community outreach for the Clinical Department. Your areas of responsibility and services may include Behavioral Health Services such as mental health treatment drug & alcohol treatment treatment court veterans services and Opportunity House; Child & Adolescent Services; Community Re-Entry Center (BCJS); Drug & Alcohol Services; or Intake & Admissions Services.


You will

  • Provides individual and group clinical supervision for behavioral health staff.
  • Participates in integrated care meetings and address both the physical and behavioral health needs of the population served if applicable.
  • Responsible for assuring the organization and its activities are in full compliance with all regulatory and insurance standards.
  • Ensures the quality and timeliness of treatment plans and physician oversight of same.
  • Ensures staff compliance with clinical documentation requirements.


Requirements

To qualify for the position you will need

  • Masters degree in a related social services field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience providing and/or overseeing mental health and substance abuse services.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours of operation which are 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs 8am-4pm Friday with Saturday hours when applicable.
  • Must acquire Licensure or Clinical Supervisor Certification within 2 years year of hire
  • A valid PA Drivers License and the ability to drive travel and provide community-oriented services.

Preferred candidates will

  • Have knowledge of High-Risk care models.
  • Have Knowledge of or experience with trauma-informed approaches.
  • Be Bilingual: English/Spanish.

All offers of employment are contingent upon the following:

  • Receipt of results of a satisfactory drug and alcohol screening test.
  • Receipt of the originals of the following background checks: PA State Police Criminal History PA State Child Abuse and DPW FBI Criminal History. These clearances must be valid within the 60 months prior to employment. A conviction is not a bar to employment; however a review will be conducted to make a determination of employment should a conviction be present.
  • Receipt of original documentation and verification of relevant degrees diplomas certificates or licensure.
  • Must acquire Licensure or Clinical Supervisor Certification within 2 years year of hire
  • Confirmation that you are not on the OIG Federal Healthcare Program Exclusion from Participation list. Should you appear on this list Berks Counseling Center is prohibited from employing you.
  • This position may require you to operate BCCs company car or transport clients so you must provide a 10-Year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a valid Drivers License
