Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Point Driver in Deer Park TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will support access control by checking credentials issuing badges logging visitors and monitoring entry points. You will complete routine patrols document security-related concerns and communicate clearly while delivering strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification issuing and/or collecting badges managing visitor and contractor check-in and maintaining required logs.
- Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic coordinate deliveries and service providers per site rules and report unauthorized access attempts to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas checking doors fencing and restricted zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
