Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Ground Staff to join our team in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations at the airport ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers at the check-in counter boarding gate and baggage claim area - Check passengers tickets passports and other necessary documents - Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules delays and other travel-related inquiries - Ensure the safety and security of passengers by following all airport and airline regulations - Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner - Assist with the boarding process and help passengers find their seats - Coordinate with other ground staff flight crew and airport personnel to ensure smooth operations - Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the aircraft - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays - Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds - Knowledge of local languages and customs is an asset - Must be willing to undergo a background check and obtain necessary security clearances Contract Details: This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. The selected candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays. The contract will be for a period of one year with the possibility of extension based on performance.
