Summary

Researches resolves and tracks suspected compliance/privacy issues and provides guidance to management and employees. Conducts internal/external compliance audits and reviews of compliance-related concerns. Provides information on compliance activities as needed.


Description

This will be an on-site position working onsite at the Percival Road location in Columbia SC. The normal work hours will be 8:00-5:00.

What You Will Do:

  • Conducts ongoing internal and external compliance reviews and audits ensuring compliance with applicable contract provisions and government regulations and identifies all necessary improvements. Provides guidance to management and employees as needed. May investigate and make recommendations from a compliance standpoint.

  • Analyzes federal and state regulations and guidance to determine impact to business. Initiates and monitors Corrective Action Plans necessary to accomplish and sustain compliance.

  • Generates and submits data and reporting on compliance activities as needed to government and regulatory agencies. Interacts with regulatory officials as necessary.

  • Reviews program materials for compliance and quality. This may include member materials marketing documents and training curricula. May act as liaison with external organizations.

What Youll Need:


Required Education: Bachelors

Degree Equivalency:4 years job related work experience or Associates and 2 years job related work experience

Required Work Experience: 4 years health insurance compliance or audit investigations or corporate-level related experience.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent analytical or critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to make sound decisions and work independently.

  • Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion.

  • Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of federal state and local laws.

Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.

Work Environment:Typical office environment. Some travel may be required.
