The Mindess School is seekinga grade 3-5 classroom teacher for the 2026-2027 academic school year. Mindess is a vibrant learning community dedicated to academic excellence and the social emotional growth of every student. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Creating an inclusive engaging and joyful classroom environment.
- Planning and delivering instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
- Administering and analyzing assessments to guide instruction.
- Collecting and using data to inform teaching practices.
- Communicating effectively with students families colleagues and school leadership.
- Supporting and maintaining classroom expectations routines and school-wide norms.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
Degree in education preferred valid teaching license
Prior teaching in upper elementary grades preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to build rapport with students and foster a positive inclusive learning environment Flexibility reliability and a collaborative mindset
