  4. MTSS Leadership Experience Preferred

Compensation: Per Certified Salary Schedule

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Level:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Masters Degree Preferred

Certification/Licensure:

  • Nebraska Teaching Permit/Certificate

Experience Desired:

  • Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience

Other Requirements:

  • Possess excellent human relations skills
  • Ability to function in a highly professional manner
  • Willingness to continue to expand knowledge and expertise
  • Possess excellent organization skills

REPORTS TO: Building Administration

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions of each employees position includes (1) regular dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge skills and abilities and to perform the identified work activities; and (3) the ability to perform the physical requirements of their specific job description.

Basic:

To provide assistance to administrators counselors teachers and students especially in the area of discipline to provide a positive climate and culture

Frequent:

  1. Provide leadership and professional development in a Multi-Tier System of Supports and Positive Behavior Intervention Supports in coordination with the Building/District Administration Building/District Level Teams.
  2. Assist Building Administrators with discipline issues and take an active role in dealing with student behavior through work with students their families school staff community resources etc.
  3. Assist with attendance and tardiness problems of students through work with students their families school staff community resources etc.
  4. Assist the Building Administrators with general supervision before during and after school
  5. Assist the administration and athletic director with the supervision of students at various athletic events and other school activities
  6. Serve as coordinator of lunchroom supervision of students
  7. Be in charge of daily operations when administrators are not available
  8. Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Administration
