REPORTS TO: Building Administration
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of each employees position includes (1) regular dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge skills and abilities and to perform the identified work activities; and (3) the ability to perform the physical requirements of their specific job description.
Basic:
To provide assistance to administrators counselors teachers and students especially in the area of discipline to provide a positive climate and culture
Frequent:
- Provide leadership and professional development in a Multi-Tier System of Supports and Positive Behavior Intervention Supports in coordination with the Building/District Administration Building/District Level Teams.
- Assist Building Administrators with discipline issues and take an active role in dealing with student behavior through work with students their families school staff community resources etc.
- Assist with attendance and tardiness problems of students through work with students their families school staff community resources etc.
- Assist the Building Administrators with general supervision before during and after school
- Assist the administration and athletic director with the supervision of students at various athletic events and other school activities
- Serve as coordinator of lunchroom supervision of students
- Be in charge of daily operations when administrators are not available
- Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Administration
