We are seeking a deadline-driven and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join a premier established Design-Build construction firm in Northern Indiana. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with architectural designers and project managers to bring new buildings major additions and complex renovations to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Design & Analysis: Perform structural calculations and analysis for various building components to ensure safety stability and load-bearing integrity.
- Collaborative Planning: Work alongside architects to integrate structural requirements into aesthetic and functional building designs.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all plans adhere to national and local building codes (IBC/Indiana Building Codes) and safety regulations.
- Field Coordination: Conduct site inspections and boots on the ground reviews to ensure construction aligns with design specifications.
- Material Evaluation: Recommend materials and construction techniques that maximize performance and durability.
- Project Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of analysis findings risk assessments and compliance verifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Licensure: Current Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred; or the verified ability to obtain licensure within 12 months of hire.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the construction industry (Residential Commercial or Industrial).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CAD software and structural design analysis tools.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical elements clearly to clients site superintendents and non-engineers.
- Project Management: Strong ability to track multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while staying calm under pressure.
