Role: ERP/SAP Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ERP/SAP Senior Project Manager to lead complex ERP projects and ensure successful delivery of enterprise solutions. This role will focus on end-to-end project management driving execution managing stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business objectivesnot only within SAP but across related systems and integrations.

A key aspect of this role will be managing consulting partners guiding project decisions and ensuring delivery of robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ERP/SAP projects from initiation through delivery ensuring scope timeline and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including milestones dependencies and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage vendor and consulting partner relationships ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee data migration system integration and master data governance activities.
  • Monitor and manage project risks issues and dependencies implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with GXP SOX and cybersecurity standards maintaining audit readiness.
  • Drive organizational change management including stakeholder engagement training and adoption strategies.
  • Champion Agile practices (Scrum Kanban SAFe) where applicable fostering adaptability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular status updates and executive-level reporting on progress risks and achievements.
  • Conduct post-project reviews capture lessons learned and implement process improvements.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Proven experience in ERP/SAP project management ideally end-to-end delivery.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Masters preferred).
  • 6 years of project management experience with successful software delivery track record.
  • Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • High adaptability and ability to navigate ambiguity and change.

Desired

  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or cloud).
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks cloud ERP deployments and global vendor management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional and global teams.
