Job Title: Product Designer (Aluminum Window Systems 3D Modelling)

A Day in the Life:

-Design modular façade components including curtainwall and windowwall systems.
-Develop custom aluminum silicone and plastic extrusions for new or improved products.
-Produce detailed 2D fabrication drawings and 3D parametric models using AutoCAD Revit and Inventor.
-Support product development initiativesprototyping testing refinement and documentation.
-Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and project teams to optimize system performance and manufacturability.
-Ensure all designs comply with structural thermal and applicable code requirements.
-Create and maintain documentation packages including BOMs and revision-controlled drawings.

What You Bring:

-Must have curtainwall design experience (mandatory).
-Proven ability to design custom aluminum and/or thermoplastic extrusions.
-Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit and Autodesk Inventor.
-Strong understanding of modular building envelope systems materials and fabrication and installation methods.
-Experience with 2D drafting and 3D parametric modeling.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
-Experience with product testing (air/water/structural).
-Familiarity with thermal modeling tools such as THERM.
