2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days 100% FTE
Location:Mandan High School
Salary:Starting $55550 for Bachelors degree; starting $57072 for Masters degree.Full benefit package included.
Position Summary:
- Mandan Public Schools is currently seeking a Secondary Instructional coach at Mandan High School. This position will provide coaching and support to improve teacher instruction and student learning.
Essential Functions:

Employees are required to be in attendance and prepared to begin work at their assigned work location on the specified days and hours. Factors such as regular attendance at the job are not routinely listed in job descriptions but are an essential function. Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide support to individual classroom teachers through modeling co-teaching observing and coaching cycles for core instruction and/or academic and behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with principal and other teachers in the building to analyze findings to target professional development needs for individual teachers grade-level groups or the entire building.
- Facilitate curriculumdevelopment and alignment teams at the building and district level.
Assist in the planning developing and/or delivering of district level professional development.
Assist in the implementation growth and support of district level professional development in the buildings.
Assist in the implementation growth and support of district and building level processes.
Be involved in building level Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams in creating and strengthening their academic and behavioral systems.
- Support teachers in using progress monitoring tools that match interventions programs and support materials finding ways to progress monitor student growth.
- Ensure teachers have relevent and timely access to the formative and/or summative assessment data that will help them make day-to-day instructional decisions.
- Provide ongoing training and support to ensure teachers and support personnel know how to administer collect and analyze data efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that all activities conform to district and state guidelines.

- Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board.
