Job Summary
SUMMARY
Seeking a motivated and detail orientatedProduct Specialistto join our team. Looking for someone who is business minded with a passion to be creative. TheProduct Specialistwill be responsible for supporting the Designer and Design Director in aspects of product management. This person will collaborate with the Design team on:
-Tech Pack Creation
-Sample intake and management
-Color approvals
-CAD Deck Management
-Sample and Approval Management through Licensed Vendor Systems
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Sample Development: Request track and receive development samples managing the approval process of style and color through PLM.
- Technical Knowledge: Understand knit construction and yarn development in order to be able to comment on development samples.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate PLM style tech packs ensure CAD decks are updated with all current information. Sample and Approval Management through Licensed Vendor Systems
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams on product requests and approvals CAD deck needs sample needs and other functions necessary in the lifecycle of a product.
The Product Specialist will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure timelines are met communications are clear and organized. This person needs to have a creative eye understand product construction be able to manage multiple things concurrently and be able to drive the business forward with the ability to adhere to brand integrity.

- Associates or higher degree in design textiles or product development. Will consider equivalent industry experience of three years or more combined with certificate program.
- Some design and CAD experience related to apparel accessories or graphic design industries required.
KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY
- Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of brand aesthetics specific market customer and costing.
- Knowledge and understanding of sock machinery is a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment with strong organizational skills.
- PDM and/or PLM experience is a plus
- Willing to travel on occasion if needed to assist with meetings or trend research
