Description
Command Post Technologies Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Human Resources and Communications Intern to support our HR team with a focus on recruiting candidate outreach onboarding support and corporate communications. This role is ideal for someone interested in talent acquisition and HR operations who is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable interacting with internal and external partners.
The intern will play a key role in supporting day-to-day recruiting efforts maintaining accurate HR data and assisting with various administrative tasks while also gaining exposure to employer branding and communication initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the recruiting process by sourcing candidates reviewing resumes coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and HR databases with a high level of accuracy
- Assist with job postings across platforms and help track posting performance
- Provide administrative support to the HR team including document preparation file management and data entry
- Assist with onboarding activities and new hire documentation
- Support reporting and tracking of recruiting and HR metrics
- Create graphics and assist with generating content for employer branding initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- Strong career interest in recruiting talent acquisition and HR operations
- Must have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating professionally with candidates via email and phone
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work on-site in Orlando FL
- Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and interest in employer branding/social media
- Experience with Canva or other design tools
