Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery
Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in a family birth center. The RN will provide comprehensive care across labor delivery recovery postpartum (LDRP) and nursery settings supporting both mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities
Provide care for patients in Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP)
Assist in labor and delivery procedures including circulating responsibilities
Deliver care in acute care nursery and OB triage
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
Perform newborn care including hearing screenings
Manage postpartum mother-baby care (couplet care)
Administer medications and manage high-risk conditions (e.g. magnesium patients)
Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Active RN License (State or Compact)
BLS ACLS AWHONN Intermediate required
Advanced NRP Certification required
STABLE Certification required
Lactation Certification required
Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
