About the Role:

Our client is on an exciting journey to expand their R&D organization and is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team in Stockholm. We are looking for a confident experienced professional who takes initiative values ownership and thrives in a collaborative environment.

As a Senior Backend Developer you will play a key role in building out a robust scalable infrastructure. You will be expected to drive technical decisions mentor others and contribute to a high-performing agile environment.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Go (Golang): You have at least 7 years of experience in modern web development with a heavy focus on backend architecture and Go.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.

• Data & Messaging: Proficiency with Postgres and RabbitMQ.

• Observability: Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.

• API Design: Strong background in building and maintaining RESTful services.

• Agile Mindset: You are comfortable working in fast-paced agile environments.

• Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Swedish is a significant advantage.

• Office Presence: Ability to work from the Stockholm office at least 2-3 days a week.

Bonus Points (Meritorious)

• Experience in Fintech or the banking sector.

• Strong background in data-driven product development and A/B testing.

• Familiarity with tools like Miro Atlassian and GitHub.

• Early adoption and experience with TradAI and GenAI tools.

• Duration: Through December (with potential for extension)

• Location: Stockholm (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week on-site)
