Responsibilities
Serves as a resource on continuous quality improvement and regulatory requirements for the hospital and medical staff. Prepares reports and communicates quality improvement information and activities to appropriate committees teams and task forces for the hospital and medical staff. Serves as a communication link from committees teams and task forces to the medical staff. Maintains quality data for medical staff reappointment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years experience in a health care field with 1 year of experience related to quality improvement.
2. Good oral and written communication skills.
3. Good organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines including physicians and nurses.
5. Ability to provide presentations on topics related to quality and regulatory issues.
6. Able to participate as part of a team to accomplish an assigned project.
PREFERRED:
Previous training as a team leader and facilitator.
