ML Engineer

Job Description

In this role you will:

• Develop optimize and scale up pipelines and web applications across different areas of drug discovery and development
• Prototype test and validate novel scientific solutions: algorithms machine learning models applications pipelines and dashboards focused mainly on protein design and protein engineering

Required Experience and Skills:

• Graduated (or pursuing) MSc or PhD degree in computer science software engineering bioinformatics data science or related field with at least 2 years of experience in developing scientific applications in discovery or clinical development settings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high professional standards with strong ability to prioritize
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify and explain complex problems to data scientists and software engineers
• Excellent programming skills in Python and familiarity with Linux/Unix Docker SQL and versioning control e.g. Git
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience developing machine and deep learning models via Python (Scikit-learn PyTorch TensorFlow etc)
• Experience with HPC cloud computing (AWS) and distributed computing
