The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion we currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join our Joint Reconstruction Team in Wellington. Predominantly a field-based role the Clinical Specialist will focus on providing clinical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons in the operating theatre across our Hip & Knee replacement solutions including VELYS our cutting-edge robotic technology. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing in-theatre case support and coverage to Orthopaedic Surgeons and delivering in-servicing workshops and training sessions for hospital staff
  • Building strong relationships with key Surgeons and operating theatre staff members and optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team
  • Collaborating with Sales teams to drive product adoption and supporting product rollouts demo and evaluations
  • Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing Physiotherapy Paramedicine Exercise Science Osteopathy Chiropractic etc.) and experience supporting Hip and Knee Arthroplasty is highly regarded
  • Strong communication presentation and customer service skills
  • Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused
  • Autonomous and able to work as part of a team and is organised with good time management skills
