What Were Looking For:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree preferred. 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong technical knowledge of endpoint devices operating systems and network infrastructure.

Proficient in systems analysis methodologies and project management principles.

Excellent problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CompTIA A Network Security or equivalent.

Experience with endpoint management and systems analyst applications (e.g. Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager JADU Livescan Perceptive Content).

This is a permanent full-time position and located in Helena Montana.

Special Information: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. A valid drivers license is required with less than 12 conviction points in the most recent completed 36 months.

Hello! Were the Justice Information Technology Services (JITS) team at the Montana Department of Justice (DOJ). We serve the Montana Attorney General providing vital Information Technology (IT) infrastructure which Montanans rely upon to support state and local law enforcement. Our team is dynamic and collaborative and we have a big impact. We manage the IT systems services and interfaces to support approximately 900 DOJ employees and over 3000 Criminal Justice Information Network (CJIN) customers across the state working together to make a difference. JITS supports DOJ staff involved with legal cases concerning the State and its people Montana missing persons victim services childrens justice consumer protection criminal investigations highway safety motor vehicle operations gambling control criminal history information and forensic laboratory services.

The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Endpoint Engineer and Systems Analyst Supervisor who will oversee ensuring the effective design implementation and maintenance of endpoint systems and IT infrastructure as well as application maintenance. This role will focus on optimizing endpoint performance enhancing system capabilities and delivering high-quality technical support. The supervisor will work closely with other teams to align endpoint solutions with organizational goals and ensure the security and efficiency of IT operations.

What Youll Do:

Team Leadership: Supervise mentor and lead a team of endpoint engineers and systems analysts while fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Conduct regular team meetings performance reviews and professional development initiatives.

Endpoint Management: Oversee the design deployment and maintenance of endpoint devices including desktops laptops and mobile devices. Ensure the implementation of endpoint security measures and policies to protect organizational data. Monitor endpoint performance and implement enhancements to optimize user experience.

Systems Analysis: Lead systems analysts efforts to identify and address technical issues affecting endpoint performance and functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for endpoint systems. Evaluate existing systems and processes recommending improvements or new solutions as needed.

Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues escalating complex problems as necessary. Ensure that the team delivers high-quality support to end-users and resolves issues efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of endpoint systems configurations and processes. Prepare regular reports on system performance team activities and project status for management review.
