Job Summary:
- Provide support to the educational process with specific focus on instructional and mentoring practices. This includes maintaining a positive learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate ask questions and generally receive the individual attention they deserve to effectively learn the material in a lesson plan.
Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate instructional and learning strategies activities materials and equipment that reflect understanding of theater content knowledge.
- Provide opportunities for students to take part in theater festivals performances workshops and district wide events.
- Exhibit student work through performances and competitions in order to recruit and develop programs.
- Acquiring appropriate teaching materials and resources.
- Facilitate and manage students practice.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in various aspects of theatre preferred.
- Education:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Physical Requirements:
- Walk climb stairs bend and lift up to 45lbs
