JOB TITLE: Operator Recycling - EremaFLSA STATUS: Non-ExemptREPORTS TO: Fiber Team LeaderCATEGORY: Operator IVschedule Sunday - Wednesday 7am-7pmSUMMARY:With little supervision can conduct and operate all equipment in recycling. Capable of performing all operational procedures the production of Recycled PET pellets (RPET) on the Erema Line. Is capable of performing basic housekeeping and turn-around of Erema Line. Is capable of performing all required testing of produced RPET. Follows all written verbal and visual work instructions. The employees in this position must take pride in their work and the cleanliness of their workstations practicing 5S principles in all areas of their work and embracing a Zero Accident Culture with safety in the JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Able and willing to Perform all Duties of Utility Operator Recycling PositionThe ability to understand written verbal and visual instructionsThe ability to perform accurate written and computer data entry Able to test RPET produced as well as material being used or receivedAble to Operate EREMA RPET Extrusion LineAble to perform basic housekeeping and turn-around of EREMA RPET Extrusion LineAble to climb stairs ladders and other physical aspects of the jobFollow written Work Order instructions using proper materialsCertified fork truck clamp truck and pole truck operationUnderstands all job hazards demonstrates safe behaviorsAble to maintain clean work environment (housekeeping 5S) with little/no supervisionUse of efficient time management skills Able to prioritize internal and external job functions Performs other duties as assignedMechanically inclined to perform routing equipment cleanings and upkeepSupport other production areas and all other duties as needed/requiredREQUIRED TRAINING:Lock-out/tag-outBasic hazardous communication PPEOn the job safety reviewPowered Industrial Truck certificationPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Continuous standingFrequent walking Frequent pushing/pullingFrequent upper extremity useFrequent climbing stairs and laddersFrequent PIT operationFrequent hand useFrequent bending/kneelingFrequently lift up to 50 LBsADHERE TO COMPANY AND SAFETY POLICYFollow all safety and company policy including but not limited to proper PPE Attendance Cell Phone and Smoking.
