Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design implement and optimize scalable secure and highly available cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services cloud architecture DevOps security and automation and will play a key role in defining cloud strategy and modernizing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture & Strategy

Design and implement scalable secure and cost-efficient AWS architectures
Develop cloud migration strategies (lift-and-shift re-platforming cloud-native)
Drive adoption of serverless microservices and containerized solutions
Optimize cloud performance cost and reliability

Infrastructure & Automation

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform CloudFormation or AWS CDK
Automate provisioning deployment and scaling of infrastructure
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline GitHub Actions Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

Security & Compliance

Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM encryption monitoring)
Ensure compliance with standards like SOC2 ISO 27001 HIPAA
Implement secure network architecture (VPC access control)

Cloud Operations & Monitoring

Set up monitoring and logging using CloudWatch Prometheus ELK and X-Ray
Design high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance

Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate with development DevOps and security teams
Provide technical leadership and mentorship
Document architecture processes and best practices

Skills & Qualifications

8 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture or similar roles
Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda API Gateway CloudFront DynamoDB VPC)
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation AWS CDK)
Deep understanding of DevOps CI/CD and automation
Strong knowledge of networking security and IAM
Experience with Docker Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration
Familiarity with monitoring logging and cost optimization
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
