Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery
Location: Scottsbluff NE
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Start Date: ASAP (Quick Start)
Shift: Nights (5:00 PM 5:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours (Guaranteed)
Weekly Gross Pay: $2200 $2800 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Scottsbluff Nebraska is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit.
This is a multi-functional role requiring hands-on experience across labor & delivery postpartum care and surgical circulation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Unit & Role Details
This position requires experience in:
Labor & Delivery
Postpartum Care
Circulating during procedures
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor delivery and postpartum.
Monitor maternal and fetal health status throughout the care process.
Circulate during deliveries and obstetric procedures.
Assist with C-sections (scrubbing experience preferred).
Collaborate with NICU and pediatric teams when required.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Ensure adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
Certifications (Mandatory)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Experience
Experience in Labor & Delivery Postpartum and Circulation (required)
C-section scrubbing experience strongly preferred
NICU or Pediatrics experience preferred
Licensure
Active Registered Nurse (RN) State License (required at submission)
