Description

Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established highly respected provider of PK-12 grade fiction and non-fiction books located in the South Metro. Our Book Packing / Shipping department has immediate openings for seasonal help this Spring and Summer.

Responsibilities

Assemble containers and crates use proper packing methods to pack goods to be shipped and attach packing slips
Prepare shipping documents using various computer software
Maintain safe working conditions and keep work areas clean
May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery

Requirements

Ability to read comprehend and follow written and oral instructions with strong attention to detail
Ability to organize and pack materials along with checking documents for accuracy
Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
Ability to lift 30-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
Ability to cross train in other areas/departments as needed
Previous FedEx and UPS experience a plus

Schedule Options

4 - 8 hours per day 3 - 5 days per week Monday - Friday
Shifts may start as early as 7am and end no later than 4pm
Opportunity for optional additional hours and Saturdays

Wages

$17.00 per hour
