Job Summary
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time coverage assignment at an inpatient behavioral health facility in Waukegan IL. This role will support daily pharmacy operations including medication filling and delivery to units.
Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP
- Schedule: 23 days per week
- Hours: 6:00am 4:00pm (may extend as needed)
- Weekend coverage may be required
Requirements
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to be on feet/walking for extended periods
- Reliable and consistent availability for ongoing coverage
Responsibilities
- Filling medications
- Delivering medications to patient care units
- Supporting pharmacy workflow and daily operations
Additional Information
- 23 days of training required prior to start
- HCS and Omnicell experience preferred (training available)
Dress Code
- Scrubs (black/gray) or business casual
- Closed-toe shoes required
- Professional appearance standards enforced onsite
Credentialing Requirements
- Background check (attestation accepted)
- Drug screen (attestation accepted)
- HIPAA training
- Code of Conduct attestation
