As a Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol in Fremont CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced automotive location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service clear communication and timely reporting while supporting access control and responding to calls for assistance. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients contractors and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the automotive location including buildings parking areas and perimeter points helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and credential verification in accordance with site procedures helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations incidents and unusual activity in required logs and reports and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
