Stock Checker & Administrator

We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers counters to branded packaged meat all as part of our service; raised on open pastures sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

We are currently recruiting for a Stock Checker and Administrator to work in our busy Logistics department here at Kepak Merthyr Tydfil.

This is a full time permanent position working Monday Tuesday Wednesday 8.00am to 4.00pm Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with a competitive salary.

Role Purpose:

To ensure stock system reflects physical stock by carrying out stock takes. You will need to take responsibility for your work ensuring accurate recording and sharing information. Being a team player is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working to a daily and weekly schedule in the fresh and frozen departments ( -25 )
• Scanning items and assigning them to different sections
• Reviewing various reports and seeking missing stock items
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Booking and confirming incoming deliveries
• Recording all outgoing despatches
• Setting up orders
• Sharing reports
• Monitoring all customer returns liaising with Finance Transport and Intakes
• Sending picklists to the Coldstore
• Carrying out customer ordering when required
