Reinspect Utility III Day ShiftPosition Overview
This position is Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm.
Position Objective: To assist the Reinspect lead in inspecting material ensuring that defects are repaired and/or cut out as necessary. The goal is to minimize the loss on 2nds by repairing defects in a cost-effective manner.
Essential Duties: (Considering job knowledge job environment effort manipulative skill judgment safety knowledge and responsibility)
Remove roll tickets unwrap unwind and extend the product across the Reinspection floor to the rollup.
Assist in visually checking roll goods for non-conformities.
Check the product dimensions using a tape measure.
If the nonconformity can be removed or cut from the roll and the roll still meets customer specifications the roll is then packaged labeled accordingly and then moved to the finished goods warehouse.
General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with Lead and all levels of management
Non-Essential Duties: (Considering job knowledge job environment effort manipulative skill judgment safety knowledge and responsibility)
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or plant management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience in manufacturing preferred.
Training Requirements:
On the job training during normal work hours with qualified person selected by the lead or department manager.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand or walk for the entirety of shift.
Must be able to lift push pull and carry loads of up to 75 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to bend stoop squat grasp and reach frequently.
Must be able to work in industrial environment with elevated noise levels dust dirt humidity and temperature variations.
Must participate in pre-shift stretching exercises.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Scissors
Tape Measure(s)
Slide Knife
Electric Wolf Knife
Safety & Security Requirements:
Always wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for a task.
Always be cautious of lift trucks traveling throughout the plants.
Immediately report any and all quality safety or mechanical issues to the supervisor on duty.
Hair must be worn above collar length.
Keep all loose articles away from machinery.
Practice general housekeeping and keep work areas clean.
Always use proper lifting techniques.
Report any injuries to your supervisor or nurse immediately.
Observe all plant safety and conduct policies
