Job Description

Job Title - VMware Administrator

Experience - 5 - 10 Years

Location - PAN India

Notice - Immediate to 30 days

Requirement:-

The OCVS Administrator is responsible for daytoday administration operations and support of Oracle Cloud VMware Solution environments.

Key Responsibilities:-

Administer OCVS SDDCs clusters and ESXi hosts.
Manage vCenter NSXT and VMware networking.
Perform VM provisioning patching and lifecycle operations.
Support migration execution and postmigration stabilization.
Monitor performance capacity and availability of OCVS environments.
Execute backup restore and DR procedures.
Troubleshoot VMware and OCI infrastructure issues.
Work with OCI teams on networking security and access.
Support change incident and problem management processes.

Mandatory Skills:-

5-10 years of experience in VMware administration.
Handson experience with:
- vSphere / ESXi
- vCenter
- NSXT
Working knowledge of OCI basics:
- VCN Subnets DRG
- Security Lists / NSGs
Experience supporting production VMware environments.
Preferred Skills:-
Experience with OCVS operations.
Exposure to HCX migration tooling.
Basic scripting / automation (Shell Terraform OCI CLI).
Experience in regulated / enterprise environments.
