Job Summary

3-month contract position with a local authority

Summary
  • This is a 3-month contract position with a local authority focused on providing high-quality customer care and administrative support for the Community Equipment Service. The role is crucial for ensuring the effective delivery of services by managing customer inquiries processing equipment orders supporting logistics scheduling and maintaining accurate data on IT systems. The position plays a vital role in ensuring that all service activities meet required standards and performance indicators.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from customers partners and contractors in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Provide information and guidance to prescribers and service users regarding community services.
  • Process orders collections and repairs on the Community Equipment Service IT system.
  • Schedule equipment deliveries collections and repairs contacting clients to arrange suitable dates within service requirements.
  • Ensure scheduling meets service performance indicators and operational expectations.
Requirements
  • Essential Experience Required
    • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
    • Experience using a range of IT systems and software.
    • Experience communicating with customers who have varied support needs.
  • Essential Qualifications Required
    • Knowledge of data protection requirements and handling confidential information securely.
    • Welsh Language Level 1 (basic induction) with training provided.
Additional Information
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week
  • Payment schedule: Bi-weekly
