Ipswich Opportunity Group are looking for a Playleader to join their early years team.

You will be working as part of a team planning and preparing activities for pre-school children with a range of abilities so that they can all access them and encourage their development in all areas. You will also be setting up the playroom for each session and clearing away at the end.

Your responsibilities

• To help to organise and run play sessions of the Opportunity Group ensuring that appropriate standards of therapeutic play are maintained
• Ensuring playroom is safe and accessible for all children
• Encouraging children to access activities.

What you will need

• Level 3 or other relevant qualification
• Knowledge of a range additional needs

• Good communication skills.

About us

Ipswich Opportunity Group is a support group for families who have pre-school children with special needs/disabilities. Parents/carers attend with their children so are in the playroom for part/all of the sessions.

What we will offer you

We are a small friendly group a registered charity running for over 30 years.

The group is managed by a committee of trustees.
