Job Summary
Work -Are you an experienced Fitter with a passion for fostering and maintaining good working relationships Join Sunwater as a Fitter where youll play a vital role in undertaking routine mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance installation and modification work and troubleshooting tasks.
Other responsibilities include:
- Maintaining pumps valves and mechanical equipment associated with pipelines and bulk water storages
- Gathering information and monitoring performance of plant and equipment to ensure its safe reliable and efficient operation
- Identifying reporting and correcting workplace hazards and defects in a timely manner
- Managing contractor activities in conjunction with supervisors to provide information and safe access to assets
We are seeking an experienced tradesperson with the ability to participate actively in a team environment. You will hold Qualifications Cert 3 as a fitter fitter-mechanic or other suitable trade and have a Class C drivers licence.
You will also bring:
- The ability to perform the manual task requirements of the position and work in confined spaces
- Well-developed computer diagnostic and technical skills.
- Well-developed communication interpersonal and negotiation skills
