The Accounting Internship offers an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in the field of accounting. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Financial Recordkeeping: Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records including data entry reconciliation and documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable and Receivable: Participate in processing invoices tracking payments and resolving discrepancies related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze Financial Data: Contribute to the analysis of financial information identifying trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage Intacct) is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in financial data.
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and interpret financial information and solve problems efficiently.
• Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
